Saturday: All meet at Gatwick/Heathrow airport and check in our bags, heading to Das Em Salaam via Istanbul.
Sunday: Arrive early morning, sort Visas and we will be met by Willhard (the president of our partner charity) with two minibuses to take us to Iringa which is a five hour drive with plenty of stops as required.
The afternoon will be a chance for the drink in Iringa (or sleep) and to get your bearings.
Monday: The team will be running the drop-in centre in Iringa in a poor part of the town for women to come in, be measured and to receive probably their first bra.
Tuesday / Wednesday: The team will travel to a number of remote villages to “fit out” the women of the village. We may stay in the villages overnight and eat with the locals. We hope to also experience the gospel choir in Alfred’s church. (Alfred is the local Pastor)
Thursday: A day spent with the Masai Tribe “hopefully” painting their new nursery we have funded before we head late afternoon to the national park to book into the hotel and go on a evening game drive.
Friday: Early morning game drive before we head back to Iringa for a final group meal with our hosts.
Saturday: In the minibus, we will head back to Dar to catch our flight home.
Sunday: Arrive home.
