BUILDING STRONGER COMMUNITIES

About Us

Since 2010 our organisation has continued to create and support initiatives which empower disadvantaged women, children and marginalised communities across Asia and Africa.
Working with our in-country partners we strive to build sustainable projects to empower communities to thrive through education, vocational training and psychosocial support.

A Powerful Network

We simply could not have achieved what we have since 2010 without the ongoing support of over 100 volunteers who have joined our events.  This allows us to continue to support communities across Asia and Africa and continue to develop new initiatives.

Vital,Trusted Partnerships

We pursue and nurture close relationships with our in-country partners and NGO's to reach children, families and communities as early as possible and offer assistance in times of need.

Listening instead of assuming

Our work following the 2015 Nepalese earthquake supported our belief that we continue to listen to what communities need, instead of assuming that we know best. This requires direct communication and assistance and this is why we work hard to develop and maintain relationships with our partners, NGO's and the people we serve.

International
Cooperation

We are proud to be a non-religious, non-political organisation and our work over the years with people from all faiths and cultures continues to strengthen our belief that no one person is any less important than another.  Collaboratively with our partners our vision is therefore to provide as much opportunity to the communities we serve for them to achieve better prospects.

 Just some of our projects...

  • New Projects in 2024

Unfortunately, there will always be a need, and we as an organisation will continue to seek out ways to help more disadvantaged women, children and marginalised communities. Our focus in 2024 is to continue to develop our vocational training projects in Andra Pradesh, India. Young women and single mothers mainly work in agriculture earning around £2 per day, we aim to provide tailoring training to allow them to increase their income, support their children's education and leave the fields and be able to work from home.
